A weekend of remeberence

Tonight I'm going to lit the candles on the grave where my parents are.
I have a special gift from her ,a crochet blanket she made many many years ago and she used small amounts of yarn/scraps from knitted things for us in the family.I use it nearly every day and this is a "warm" gift for the body and the soul.

New mittens in Sandness Palett superwash

A perfect weekend project is mittens made in a varigated yarn. The cuff is made by knit 3 or 4 rows and purl 3 or 4 rows as long as you want to have it.I tried to get the same colour variation but it was impossible with the 2 skeins I had.A nice knitting and the yárn is so wonderful to work with.

The first "snow" came this night but went away very fast. The leaves are falling so it's wonderful to celbrate the cinnamon buns instead,a very common "cake"in Sweden.I made some and we had a nice "fika".I wish you all were here.
