Small flowers mitts by Pinneguri

It's a cloudy day and the new pair of fingerless mittens are on the needles(2.5mm) now .I 'm knitting them by 2 Ply Jumper Weight yarn(Jamieson&Smith) by Shetland wool.I had a lovely time on Saturday morning,drinking Roibus tea, listening at music and using this very good pattern ,free on Ravelry.

2 blocks made by black fabric,flowers from a Kaffe Fassett fabric as an application and french knots for a friend in Norway

These blocks are made for a swap friend on her birthday.It was a lovely sewing time with embroidery and handmade application of flowers.Yes it took time but I'm so satisfied with the result.The flowers are a has not, in reality ,so dark colours. Hopefully this way of doing blocks is something I want to do more times.
