The socks are ready and mittens are on the way

I'm so happy the socks are ready and I have had time to start the mittens.I have had a long time a pattern by Emma Jacobsson "Randiga loppan" and I use off white and grey.I'm going to do a change with the knitting of thumbs. We get the autumn and soon we have colder times so it's good to be ready with some knitting before October when we can get cold nights and perhaps some snowy days.

The picture is taken 8.15 in the evening and we really have a lovely sunshine.

What have I done on Sunday evening and Monday afternoon?

Hello all

On www.cottonspice.com/CSblog there have been new projects everyday presented by different designers, small projects to do in a day or 2.I found it the last 3 days of the doing-together so the first I have done is a version of project 12.A nice project but I had to ghange colours because I had nothing to paint with and the colours were a little bit to much pink.I'm going to use the square to something but I have not decided what.

Go there and i hope you find something nice to do.
Good luck

The end of June-mini quilt and a mail art

The month of June gave me a little time to do some swap things.I really love to do and get things too.I made a mail art and it was inspired of freebees on internet.I didn't send it without an envelope. To my friend I made inside 2 pouches for small items as a little embroidery or yarn.

To swap mini quilts give me inspiration and opportunities to learn new patterns.

Happy Midsummer

My favourite flowers in the garden or in the surroundings today.
Mimi asked about the names of the flowers and from the above
Lilac-bush
Crane´s bill
??????
Lilies of the valley

A long time ago they belived that 7 flowers ,picked on different places and you needed to go over 7 fences ,under the pillow on Midsummer Eve until Midsummer Day and you have dreams about the one you are going to be married with.Today there are not so much fences and we don't think it's possible.
This night is the lightest night and therefore it's a magic night.Everything can happen!?????!!!!!

Today we also celebrate the one who baptized Jesus,Johannes.

Today we celebrate the National day here in Sweden.
